IFS Global Markets PACsecure Program
We are pleased to report the IFS International Technical Committee (ITC) approved the IFS Global Markets PACsecure Program. We now have the green light to proceed with finalizing the program for availability very soon. The primary benefit is that it gives companies a more manageable way to implement good manufacturing practices for safe packaging for food protocols. This approach allows companies to assure their customers that they have started assessing risk in their operations and applying controls.
IFS PACsecure Technical Update
The purpose of the IFS PACsecure Working Group is to review and update the standard to meet current market conditions. The team virtually met on March 24th to discuss the requirements under Part II, Sections 2 and 3. Once again, the input and ideas shared by the group created constructive discussion and resulted in productive revisions to these Sections.
